r/ukraineu/Pitmaster4Ukraine is permanently banned from r/ukraine expand allcollapse all [–]subreddit message via /r/ukraine[M] sent 1 month ago Hello, You have been permanently banned from participating in r/ukraine because you broke this community's rules. You won't be able to post or comment, but you can still view and subscribe to it. Note from the moderators: Ed, We have removed your verified flair and banned you. You grossly inflated the price of tourniquets when you fundraised for those. The prices you cited for laptops are inconsistent with the links you provided. The final straw is the fact that in your most recent post, the one thanking donors for their support, you used other peoples' thank you videos. We no longer trust you as a fundraiser. We cannot allow you to post here anymore. Regretfully, The r/Ukraine mod team If you have a question regarding your ban, you can contact the moderator team by replying to this message. Reminder from the Reddit Admin team: If you use another account to circumvent this community ban, that will be considered a violation of the Reddit Rules and may result in your account being banned from the platform as a whole. permalinkdeletereportblock subredditmark unreadreply [–]to /r/ukraine sent 1 month ago Hi moderators, First of all, I’ve had a very hard day, and I’d like to respond calmly and clearly. The thank-you videos in my latest post were all personally sent to me—either by the units who received gear or food, or by Anastasia, a trusted volunteer I work with who helps distribute humanitarian aid. I did not use anyone else’s content. The mother holding up the sweater is the mother of Veronica alias “Victoria” where a lot of people from r/ukraine contributed to. Regarding the laptops: we specifically asked for rugged, high-performance machines—i7, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, high-resolution screens, and Windows 11 Pro. These are used in frontline environments: mud, sand, rain, wind. Prices for quality refurbished units start around €1250, and new models go up to €3500. The price we listed in the first post was on the low end for what’s actually needed. And I will try good working water proof laptops for 1250 euro. As for the tourniquets: yes, the price of €50 was higher than average, but I based it on guidance from military medics. We later agreed in the comments that €37.50 was a better reference. Still, the real issue we face isn’t just price—it’s the flood of fake or non-approved tourniquets, which is a serious risk. From the €800 raised, we purchased 20 genuine CAT7s via a trusted medical team that works and lives on zero, That same team also urgently needed a €1500 drone for safer evacuations under artillery threat, which was included in the overall mission cost. I always work directly with units who ask for help, and I act in good faith. I’m open about where the money goes and try to be as transparent as possible. If there’s something specific that concerns you, I would really appreciate the chance to clear it up. I care deeply about this mission and those I support. I hope we can resolve this constructively. Best regards Edward permalinkreply [–]to /r/ukraine sent 1 month ago Regarding suitable laptops for the frontline: All laptops need to be upgraded to models that support Windows 11, as Microsoft will end support and updates for Windows 10 in October 2025. Therefore, it is not advisable to purchase any laptop that cannot run Windows 11. That’s why I am already anticipating for more powerful laptops.. permalinkreply [–]to /r/ukraine sent 1 month ago This was my day today: We were hit again today — three direct strikes in the village, and 14 more in the surrounding area. I had to act as an ambulance for an injured elderly man. No emergency services come out here anymore… it’s unreal. When the shells land, we drive around, check for wounded, and evacuate whoever we can. There are no volunteers left who come this far out. That means tonight, an elderly woman has to sleep in a house with no windows… while her husband is lying on the operating table. Please understand we are not living in a city, the closest city is a two hour or more drive. By banning me based on doubts, you’ve opened the door to people sending me life-threatening messages. Meanwhile, I know my high-end IT equipment is urgently needed right now. And all this… because of a wrongly listed price for tourniquets, plus a false accusation that I stole someone else’s thank-you videos — which I absolutely did not do. You can reach out to Anastasia (https://www.facebook.com/share/1Fm3CkK14W/?mibextid=wwXIfr) — she’ll explain exactly how I work with their team. Please take the time to ask her. Also, about the laptops: the team specifically asked for rugged laptops, not basic test models. As I mentioned before, prices range from $1,250 (which is what I listed) up to $3,500. You can’t expect soldiers using the latest tech to operate under frontline conditions with budget gear. permalinkreply [–]subreddit message via /r/ukraine[M] sent 1 month ago Ed, First things first: we cannot approve the comment Anastasia tried to leave because she included her phone number in it. That's forbidden by Reddit TOS. We know that you are doing good work. That was never the problem. The issue is your behavior and methods. As you can see by the responses to your ban, you don't have the full trust of this community anyore. Many, many users see your posts and feel that you're untrustworthy. The post about $50 tourniquets, for example: by now, plenty of people know what good tourniquets actually cost, and that it's nowhere near $50. You provided no proof anywhere that you're paying $50 for them. Instead, you talked about how expensive they are, and dropped the price you're claming to €37.50. In your post about the laptops, you gave inconsistent numbers for costs. You said you wanted to raise a certain amount for two, but the link you provided didn't match the number you gave. That does not make you look trustworthy or knowledgeable. You get rude and aggressive with people who question you, even when their questions are valid. You also tend to demean people who aren't actually at the zero line, acting as if all the volunteers in the back are somehow beneath you because they aren't actually there. Do you understand that the war effort needs the people in the back, too? We hate to have to stop you from fundraising in here, Ed. We really do. But your behavior in here caused you to lose the community's trust before we banned you. Again: look at the responses to your ban. We absolutely cannot have you misleading donors, being rude about valid questions, or citing questionable numbers without proof. If we allow one person to get away with that, it casts doubt on everyone else who relies on this community for fundraising. It hurts everyone. Do you see? You aren't the first person doing good work whom we've had to ban because of their behavior. We absolutely hate doing it, but we had to for the protection of everyone else who also needs this community. permalinkdeletereportblock subredditmark unreadreply [–]to /r/ukraine sent 1 month ago Just a reaction from r/Mr_engineering Hey folks, Normally I wouldn't weigh in on stuff like this but u/Pitmaster4Ukraine reached out to me and asked for me to advocate on his behalf. I'm an IT specialist and tried to help bring down the cost of a server that he was fundraising for several weeks ago. He disclosed to me in confidence why he needed that particular server part configuration and what it was for. I went through my entire list of second-hand IT suppliers and wasn't able to reach a price -- even without shipping -- than his fundraising target. While I may have made some different selections in configuring it, it wouldn't have saved much and would result in my second guessing someone with much better knowledge of the immediate subject matter. While I am mindful that there are plenty of grifters and conmen taking advantage of this conflict to enrich themselves, I do not have any reason to believe that Ed is one of them. By all accounts, he's a selfless volunteer; he doesn't need to be there; he doesn't need to risk getting hit by a stray artillery shell or an opportunistic drone. He could leave at any time yet chooses to not do so. The difficulty of getting donated and purchased materials to the vicinity of the frontline is well established. This same refrain has been repeated by many volunteers and reporters. I think that those involved in procuring, transporting, and using these things on the front line need to be given some deference. If Ed wishes to fundraise for new laptops rather than purchase used ones that are several years old then it is his perogative as a volunteer to do so. A prudent IT administrator on a tight corporate budget may make different choices than someone who has to drive things through drone infested minefields where it rains artillery. Absent concrete evidence of grift I cannot say that I agree with this decision and would ask that you reconsider. We know who the real enemy is, let's keep it that way. permalinkreply [–]to /r/ukraine sent 1 month ago Dear moderators, You opened this discussion by accusing me of inflating the price of tourniquets. The price I mentioned—€50—was based on what military medics at the Zero Line actually pay in the field. Keep in mind: the nearest major city is over two hours away. Prices here, for everything from food to gear, are 2–3 times higher than in central logistics hubs. That’s the reality on the ground. We later adjusted the public fundraising price to €37.50 after open discussion, and that is also the price we paid. But the core issue in that post wasn’t the price—it was the flood of fake, unapproved, and imitation tourniquets we keep receiving, even from so-called “official” foundations, including some that have posted in your group. I’ve received faulty tourniquets from at least three Dutch organizations and several international ones. Many of them seem to think “anything is better than nothing.” On the front line, that kind of thinking costs lives. You then claimed that my thank-you video used other people’s content. That’s a false accusation. Every photo and video in that post came from people I personally worked with. Anastasia, who you refused to hear out, tried to clarify this—those kids in the photos received direct aid funded by us. She and her husband rely on the money I send them to do this work. This accusation damaged my name without basis. Regarding the laptops: as I’ve explained several times, rugged, field-ready laptops cost anywhere between €1,250 and €3,500. I specifically requested funds for the lower end of that range—€1,250 per unit. That is not misleading. These laptops must support Windows 11 Pro, because Windows 10 will be unsupported by Microsoft from October 2025. Of course I look for used models, but they must be reliable, durable, and up-to-date. Otherwise, they’re useless in the field. You referred to another verified user—r/tatalitlebit—who publicly undermined my post. She collects old secondhand laptops, which may be useful for some purposes, but I can tell you plainly: 90% of that hardware is not usable for actual frontline work. She publicly discredited my post without understanding what’s actually needed at Zero, and you allowed that narrative to take over—without asking me for a proper reply. I work only with frontline teams. I know what’s needed, and I do everything I can to source gear at the best possible prices. For reference: • 65” and 75” 4K active touchscreens: €125 each • Rugged laptops: €1,250 to €3,500 • Servers: €4,350, which was confirmed as the best offer by r/Mr_engineering • 3D printers: sourced below market value via family contacts in the industry These are real savings, achieved through real work—not misleading figures. You’ve now painted me publicly as “untrustworthy,” before even giving me a chance to respond properly. That alone explains the tone of the reactions you referenced. If you tell people I can’t be trusted, of course they’ll react accordingly. The question is: how do you plan to take responsibility for the false claims made about me? I’ve delivered, I’ve explained, and I’ve shown transparency. Now I ask: how are we going to resolve this? — Edward permalinkreply [–]to /r/ukraine sent 1 month ago Plus I also request that any user who has threatened my life, whether in the comments or in private messages, be removed from the group. Such behavior is entirely unacceptable, and there is no justification for it. Thank you for addressing this. permalinkreply [–]to /r/ukraine sent 1 month ago The user in private chat is r/casul_pwner permalinkreply [–]to /r/ukraine sent 1 month ago I just saw a new post where you admit that you don’t consider my thank-you video post as stolen content. For the record: I didn’t receive a laptop from them. That humanitarian organization didn’t even exist yet. I donated a laptop to Anastasia — personally — and all my sponsors’ money helped her set up that organization. That included the laptop, a weekly donation of at least €250, car repair costs, and a full Signal contact list. That foundation literally depends on having a basic income. What also really bothers me is that no moderator ever contacted me directly about this whole situation. And then there’s r/tatalitlebit — a “verified” user — commenting publicly under my fundraiser that my price for a used rugged laptop was “way too high.” I told her: €1,250 is low for a used rugged laptop. Average is €1,250, high-end goes up to €3,500. Her comment was totally unprofessional and should never have been under my post. I also explained the entire tourniquet situation in detail. The whole thing is just sad. Two out of the three reasons for banning me have already been proven false — and yet I’m still banned. Come on, really? permalinkreply [–]to /r/ukraine sent 1 month ago And once again, a post made by the moderators with incorrect information. Not a single moderator took the time to ask me anything or verify any of it with me? Throughout this entire situation, not one moderator thought to consult me directly? Really? In this whole situation, the moderators have spread more false information than I ever did during the entire tourniquet scandal. permalinkreply [–]to /r/ukraine sent 1 month ago Meanwhile, our village is under constant rocket attacks. Just this morning, another strike landed less than 100 meters from me. There are no funds left to cook meals — the village has no electricity, so I have to rely on the BBQ to feed the medical staff at a frontline stabilization point. There are no funds for Veronica. No funds for Anastasia’s foundation. And I don’t have the money to relocate, even though staying here is becoming far too dangerous. I also can’t fulfill the many urgent requests from the soldiers around me — all because you removed me from the group based on false accusations. This decision is hurting a large number of people. You’ve already acknowledged that two out of the three reasons for banning me turned out to be false. Please restore my access so I can continue providing emergency aid as the only volunteer currently active in this region. As a trauma certified nurse I can work at any trauma center after a day of orientation. When a gunshot victim rolls in, most of it is automatic and follows a standardized algorithm. I can't imagine critical combat care in any country would differ much, a gunshot in Australia is treated just like a gunshot in France. I doubt very much that this idea that people come and go in shorter periods would be more inconvenient. Any floor manager (hospital or otherwise) knows how to staff things so there would always be someone working that shift and have a backup. It wouldn't be difficulty to verify training credentials. It takes months to trust a trauma nurse can do the job? I also think the language barrier in critical care is a lot smaller than you might believe. How many actual medical terms need to be learned? Not many, in critical care there is no need to know all medical terms. Blood pressure, bandage, arm, pick up, IV, etc. No need to memorize the words for kidney disease or high cholesterol. It's not that difficult. I learned medical Spanish for my job in less than a month of study and practice. contextfull comments (24)reportblock usermark unreadreply comment replyThe Man of Steel making BBQ.. from Kiwi_Imp via /r/UkraineWarVideoReport sent 1 month ago show parent Is this the guy who had his shoulder blade shattered by a ruzzian bullet? Even on zero we have not honest people sadly that will swap for fake This is a big problem, also in a safe city like ternopil last year there where many needles casualties. Because of fake tourniquets or low quality ones. We are happy that there is finally a list of approved tourniquets.. that’s it User Avatar tallalittlebit 5:10 PM Which tourniquets are these? Pitmaster4Ukraine 5:18 PM I had it in one of the reactions , FAST i think all this discussion knocked me of my feed today. Let’s help soldiers win the war with what’s best and available. As I say we need all equipment as in yesterday.. so help out fundraising and see what’s the fastest way to get stuff to us, without a safe west ngo. The situation is that we are loosing lots of territories in south east. We have to many people on the sidelines, and to less booths on the ground. Sadly we have a new trench.. straight true our village and the Russians are sending rockets and artillery to the villages next to us. North east to south west / west Read more User Avatar tallalittlebit 5:27 PM Do you have a link to the tourniquet? User Avatar tallalittlebit 5:58 PM Why are you buying from here when other sites have lower prices? Pitmaster4Ukraine 6:04 PM It was just a average price read the full text please We ordered them cheaper of course, because we went for cat7 as I said . image I am more south than that black cross. We have an issue that the enemy is winning. And we have to defend our territories with what comes available. Maybe it’s me, but I am not enjoying this conversation. User Avatar tallalittlebit 6:10 PM It doesn’t matter where you are. You have a responsibility to donors to spend their money responsibly. You have a duty to state prices accurately. Your location doesn’t affect that. Pitmaster4Ukraine 6:13 PM Jup as I said we got them for a lower price, the average price for tourniquets that are available on zero is 50 euros. I do responsible with donations. Also I take care of a really big area with loads of requests for almost anything. So the main problem was fake tourniquets, we had a half million views. So we educated people that the main problem is fake tourniquets for a way to low price User Avatar tallalittlebit 6:14 PM But that is simply not true. That isn’t the average price. Pitmaster4Ukraine 6:14 PM And yes again we bought 20 of real ones with donated money User Avatar tallalittlebit 6:14 PM You have misleading information Pitmaster4Ukraine 6:14 PM For a lower price Please ask any soldier here they say average price is 50. Come over and educate them User Avatar tallalittlebit 6:16 PM I’ve been doing this for 3 years. No one else but you says 50 euro Pitmaster4Ukraine 6:16 PM Just in the same post we found out 37.50 is a good middle price and we talked about it As I said on zero User Avatar tallalittlebit 6:16 PM You cannot mislead donors this way. It’s unfair to the entire cause. Pitmaster4Ukraine 6:17 PM Even meat cost here the tripple than in Kyiv User Avatar tallalittlebit 6:17 PM Then order TQs from Kyiv and nova poshta them Pitmaster4Ukraine 6:17 PM Please read the full comments we got the price as in 37.50 We did !! I can’t edit a post we did it in the comments User Avatar tallalittlebit 6:18 PM It is your responsibility to make accurate posts Pitmaster4Ukraine 6:20 PM Yes I know, Pitmaster4Ukraine 6:32 PM So can is start fighting the Russians again please User Avatar tallalittlebit 6:39 PM What? Pitmaster4Ukraine 6:44 PM Can I start fighting the Russians again ? And provide the best available for reasonable prices so we have the leverage of technology ( I am a IT specialist) and we do high end equipment for the frontline. Even installing all on the frontline etc etc.. sorry that i couldn’t edit the 50 euro we did it in the comments. Yes we ordered them more cheap than that 37,50 and they’re now in the field. For me the goal was to get people aware that fake tourniquets are bad to send to zero . Hope you can close this discussion User Avatar tallalittlebit 6:45 PM Aren’t you a volunteer not a soldier? You aren’t obligated to talk to me. You are the one who messaged me insisting on this conversation. Pitmaster4Ukraine 6:47 PM I am a volunteer for the army of Ukraine. 🇺🇦 and do what I can do to help out on the frontline, all is non lethal still a real fast server or computer save lives if all is setup correctly. Also a good network is needed as in an optic fiber network.. all expensive User Avatar tallalittlebit 6:54 PM Then you aren’t fighting. Again that’s intentionally misleading. Pitmaster4Ukraine 7:07 PM Just come over here and you will see what fighting really is. It’s not just people with machine guns ! This war involves fighting with the newest technology and get it all connected Also intelligence is doing amazing work on zero. It’s all a big chain. Only technology or the lack of newest technology is holding a lot back right now Plus safe west corruption and bureaucracy is a thing that goes hand in hand sadly in Ukraine User Avatar tallalittlebit 7:29 PM You are talking to someone in Ukraine. I have been to the front. Pitmaster4Ukraine 7:32 PM I am already 28 months working at and on the front 24/7 seen a lot. It’s sad that we lose so much of Donetsk the last 6 months, I used to be able to drive 10 to 20 kilometers away from Donetsk city.. so sad what happens with the people that have to stay behind.. And if I see what we are getting to win the war, from safe west i only can cry, User Avatar tallalittlebit 7:45 PM I am not in the safe west. There is no reason to speak to me this way. Pitmaster4Ukraine 7:49 PM Ah good to hear, than you know the issues User Avatar tallalittlebit 7:51 PM And yet you spoke to me as though I'm not. Look I think you are really trying to help people. But the way you speak to other people and the way you dishonestly post about what things cost is not acceptable behavior. Pitmaster4Ukraine 7:58 PM Only. The tourniquets and we did it as a honest price. Even in the comments we came out as a fair middle price of 37,50 so what else you think I I am dishonest about price ? Because I know a lot I buy is quality gear.. the laptops with a 1250 is a good average price tag. It’s 50% of the normal price. I have a server for in the field cost 4350 euro. Plus two touch screens 4K 65 inch. Now we need field laptops.. it’s not that crazy as you think A rugged I7 with all the specs can go up to 3750 euro or higher This is not for a drone team. Apr 16 Pitmaster4Ukraine 5:50 PM Just to be clear why and what’s needed: (please we really need help) Because you can’t fight a modern war with equipment the West threw out years ago. We’re living in 2025. Fibre optics? Invented in the 1970s. 4K? A household standard since 2012. And yet, on the front line we’re still working with equipment that Western countries discarded years ago. This is a modern war: drones, missiles, electronic warfare, AI systems, live coordination. What’s missing? The tools to actually fight it. I work with drone teams, command centres, medical evacuation units and reconnaissance groups. We don’t have time for meetings or procurement bureaucracy. What we need is simple: modern hardware — functional, field-proof, and reliable. ⸻ WHAT WE NEED — EQUIPMENT NO OLDER THAN 2020 (max. 5 years old): 1. Fibre Optics & Network – the backbone • Fibre optic cables of 1 km or more (singlemode, dual mode, twin fibre) • Fibre-to-UTP media converters, preferably by: • Perle Systems • OPTOKON CS-1000C • TP-Link / D-Link (commercial/industrial) • CTOS connectors (NATO STANAG 4290) • Rugged junction boxes and power supplies (12V / 24V) • Cat6 / Cat6a / Cat7 network cables (No Cat5 – it causes interference and signal loss in our environment) 2. IT Hardware – no more museum pieces • Rugged laptops from the last 5 years (Panasonic, Dell, Durabook, etc.) • Mini-PCs or NUCs (Intel, Beelink, ASUS PN, etc.) • Servers (new or refurbished, 1U/2U rackmount or tower) • Gigabit switches (POE capable), routers, access points • UPS systems, power kits, stable field-grade power solutions 3. Visuals & Analysis – 4K is not a luxury • 4K monitors (24–32 inch) with HDMI or DisplayPort • Graphics cards for image analysis (GTX 1650+ / RX 5000+) • HDMI / DP splitters, extension cables, and adapters 4. Storage & Data • SSDs starting at 512 GB (preferably 1 TB or higher – NVMe or SATA) • External HDDs (USB 3.0 or higher) • NAS systems (Synology, QNAP, or equivalent – RAID optional) • USB flash drives & SD cards (128 GB and up) 5. Observation & Field Monitoring • Low-light cameras (monochrome or IR-capable) • IP cameras, webcams for visual comms • Tripods, protected housings, tactical-grade transport cases 6. Essentials – the things that keep everything running • Peli cases / tactical transport cases • Server racks, mounting systems, cable management gear • Tools, connectors, cable conduits, power strips ⸻ WHY NOW? Because we operate in environments where everything must work in real time. If a drone feed glitches, we lose the target. If the server goes down, we lose comms. If the cable snaps, people die — in silence. This is not about luxury. It’s basic infrastructure. We’re fighting a modern war — just without modern tools. And you, or your company, can change that — today. ⸻ SUPPORT OR DONATE www.Pitmaster4Ukraine.com Donate gear. Provide funding. Connect us with your IT department or warehouse. That is a completely different thing than the tourniquets you were asking for. No I cannot assist you. You have been telling multiple people that I banned you from fundraising on Reddit when that is not true. You cannot spread rumors about other people and then ask for them for money. Pitmaster4Ukraine 6:36 PM I’m sorry you feel that way, but many people saw your public comment under my post about the two rugged laptops. That comment had serious consequences—I was removed from the group specifically because you, as Director of Protect a Volunteer, publicly questioned my integrity. I’ve since addressed everything and backed up all my claims with facts. I work with full transparency as a volunteer at the frontline in southwest Donetsk—under fire, under pressure, and with extreme shortages. This is one of the most intense regions of the war. And yes, modern warfare is expensive. High-quality IT and medical gear costs money—there’s no way around that. Also, to clarify: I didn’t ask you personally for money. I asked whether your organization, with its donor base, could consider helping supply the tourniquets that our medics specifically requested. It’s not your money—it’s support from people who want to help volunteers survive and operate effectively. As the head of an organization called Protect a Volunteer, I had honestly hoped for a more constructive and responsible dialogue. Read more User Avatar tallalittlebit 6:42 PM That is not why you were removed. Me asking you questions had nothing to do with your removal. You stating that is a false allegation against me. You cannot make false allegations againt other volunteers. That is unacceptable. Our donars cannot support people who make false allegations as they depend on trust as well. Pitmaster4Ukraine 7:05 PM image User Avatar tallalittlebit 7:06 PM Yes that is nothing to do with me. The mods are very clearly telling you why you are banned. None if it says anything about me asking you questions or anything about me at all. Please stop contacting me. Pitmaster4Ukraine 7:09 PM This is my answer the mods: Hi moderators, First of all, it’s been a very hard day, but I want to take a moment to respond calmly. The thank-you videos in my last post were all personally sent to me—either by the soldiers who received the gear and food, or by Anastasia, a local volunteer I support in delivering humanitarian aid. I would never use someone else’s content without permission. About the laptops: the request came from a frontline unit working in extremely rough conditions—mud, sand, wind, rain. They needed rugged, high-performance laptops (i7, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, high-resolution screens, Windows 11 Pro). Prices for reliable refurbished models start around €1250, and new ones can go up to €3500. So the figure we gave was actually on the low side for what’s required. As for the tourniquets: the €50 estimate came from frontline medics, but after discussion (including in the comments), we agreed that €37.50 was more realistic. I admit that price was high, but the bigger problem isn’t the cost—it’s the constant flow of fake or non-approved tourniquets, which puts lives at risk. With the €800 we received, we bought 20 genuine CAT7s via a trusted medical team. That same team also urgently needed a €1500 drone for safer evacuations, which we supported. I’m fairly new to making public posts and running fundraisers. I don’t have a communications team—just a small group doing what we can under tough conditions. I only wish we had more hands to help. But everything I post is based on real needs from real people in danger. If something came across the wrong way, I’d genuinely like the chance to understand and improve. I always work in good faith and with full transparency. Thanks for reading this. Best regards, Edward The Read more And the people who saw you jab at me reacted to you. Not me.. I am just here to clear “things” up. User Avatar tallalittlebit 7:13 PM I did not jab at you. I asked you questions because what you said is unclear. We all have people ask us questions here. It's our responsibility to address them. If you have an issue, work it out with the mods not me. I am not a mod. Pitmaster4Ukraine 7:37 PM You say you didn’t “jab,” but you publicly responded in a way that discredited me—without first asking for clarification privately. That had real consequences for me, especially given your role as Director of Protect a Volunteer. I did exactly what you now say is our responsibility: I followed up. I told you there are more expensive tourniquets, and I provided a specific example that’s listed among the approved models. My earlier estimate of €50 came from the Zero Line specialist community—not pulled out of thin air. You may not have meant harm, but reacting like that in public did cause harm. You made me look foolish and untrustworthy in a visible thread. And for those of us operating in a war zone—where everything must be soldier-proof and funds are always tight—credibility is everything. Modern war is expensive. That’s just the truth. Read more User Avatar tallalittlebit 7:40 PM You are responsible for your own actions. You are responsible for what you post. This is your responsibility, not mine. It is completely unacceptable and unprofessional to blame me for your own actions. Junctional TQs and CAT TQs are not the same product. If you are fundraising for them, you need to know this. That is your responsibility. Pitmaster4Ukraine 7:54 PM You’re right—I take full responsibility for my words and actions. That’s why I followed up, provided clarification, and showed exactly what I meant with specific examples from trusted frontline sources. I never confused junctional TQs with CAT TQs; I shared both because they are both part of the broader reality we face here. My original €50 estimate came from specialists on the Zero Line—people who use this gear under fire. I trust their judgment. You, however, as Director of Protect a Volunteer, do carry a level of public influence. Publicly calling someone’s integrity into question—without first seeking clarification—does have consequences. That’s not “blaming” you. That’s pointing out that your actions also have impact. In any case, I’d like to move forward. The mission is more important. If you’re willing, it would help if you could message the r/ukraine mods to clarify that I’m not a scammer or dishonest. That would go a long way in repairing the damage and allowing us all to focus on what really matters—keeping people alive. Read more User Avatar tallalittlebit 7:58 PM It is your responsibility to work this out with the mods. I said nothing about your integrity. I asked you questions about the price and you could not answer them. It is not appropriate for you to ask me to do this nor to expect me to do this. If you are trusting people who tell you that CAT TQs cost this much then in my opinion you do not have the judgment required for a public fundraising role anyway. Please stop messaging peoplefalse information about me immediately. If it continues it will need to be addressed publicly as it is defamatory. Pitmaster4Ukraine 9:24 PM Let me clarify this once and for all. I never claimed that a CAT tourniquet costs €50 I spoke about tourniquets on the approved list, The €450 model I shared is a SAM Junctional Tourniquet—a very different and highly specialized tool used for pelvic and junctional hemorrhages. It’s on the approved list and used by some of the medics I support directly in the field. My earlier reference of around €50 was for high-quality, combat-tested tourniquets—based on input from Zero Line specialists who use them daily under real combat conditions. That estimate wasn’t random, and I clearly explained the context and the difference between models. So please stop suggesting I’m spreading misinformation. I haven’t. I’ve done nothing but respond clearly and in good faith to concerns you raised publicly. And yes—there is massive need for aid across the three regions I operate in here in the southeast. As you already know, it’s one of the hardest and most brutal zones in the entire war right now. So please just get us help. Read more Pitmaster4Ukraine 9:34 PM And just as a final note: the real issue we started with seems to have been forgotten. We’re still getting fake and counterfeit tourniquets at the front. It’s beyond sickening. You can spot them hanging from vests at checkpoints in the east and south . used by people literally risking their lives. That’s what I was trying to highlight. That’s the real problem. User Avatar tallalittlebit 9:39 PM I cannot help you. Please stop messaging me. Pitmaster4Ukraine 9:47 PM Understood. I won’t message you again. Just to be clear—my intention was never to attack you, only to clarify facts and raise attention to a real frontline issue what is Fake or obsolete tourniquets. I wish you all the best with your work.

Windows 10 will stop in oktober this year. So buying laptops with windows 10 is trowing money away. Still that lady is saying I buy to expensive stuff, and i know that all my prices are very low.. but okay end of my pitch This was my day today: We were hit again today — three direct strikes in the village, and 14 more in the surrounding area. I had to act as an ambulance for an injured elderly man. No emergency services come out here anymore… it’s unreal. When the shells land, we drive around, check for wounded, and evacuate whoever we can. There are no volunteers left who come this far out. I can't imagine that FedEx will send them there Pitmaster4Ukraine 9:26 PM First of all, funding is needed. Then I place the order in the Netherlands, and it gets brought to me — no paperwork, just straight delivery. From there, the teams either come pick it up at my place (which is right on the front line), or I personally drive it to them. I’m the only volunteer in this area. Without me, nothing reaches those teams. Meanwhile, the foundations keep collecting old laptops and computers and sending them to us — which, most of the time, are completely useless here. It’s honestly sad that the same woman who accused me of overpricing is now asking for old laptops and computers… Who exactly is she handing those out to? I firmly believe that everyone, including myself and most definitely you just want to help. What do you need for networking equipment? I see tons of Cisco Catalyst switches on local marketplaces. And lost 3/4 of our south west territories underneath Porkrovsk. That’s why there is lots of pressure working here.. Apr 5 Pitmaster4Ukraine 12:51 AM And once again, a post made by the moderators with incorrect information. Not a single moderator took the time to ask me anything or verify any of it with me? Throughout this entire situation, not one moderator thought to consult me directly? Really? I can’t understand this whole situation. It’s sad I just saw a new post where you admit that you don’t consider my thank-you video post as stolen content. This is where we arrived at the second rocket impact. Grandpa was covered in blood. He had a bandage on his chest, and one on his chin. Thick blood was pouring out from under the bandages. A little old lady was wandering around, confused, between the shattered windows of her home. We rushed him to the emergency hospital in the 4x4. She had been left behind. At the emergency hospital, it turned out Grandpa needed to be sent straight to the city hospital for urgent surgery. A piece of steel had hit him directly in the sternum. That man was unbelievably lucky. We went back to Grandma to explain that her husband had to stay in the hospital. He had taken the phone with him, so she hadn’t been able to reach anyone yet. Between the broken glass and splintered window frames, we explained what had happened. She looked at her destroyed home and told us to come back in the morning to fix the windows. A little later, a few men showed up. They asked what was going on and then took over from us. Today, early in the afternoon, we returned. Everything had been neatly boarded up. We brought her some groceries. Thankfully, her daughter had arrived by then—Grandma hadn’t slept all night. And just like that, good work is being done again—right on the front line. There seems to be concern about the price we listed for tourniquets. We used $50 as an average based on what the soldiers at Zero told us. In the comments, everyone seemed to agree that €37.50 would be a more accurate mid-range price. I even know a few people who paid €75 for a single CAT7. Today, another verified fundraiser openly attacked my main fundraiser and tried to discredit it. That’s not something you normally do to fellow verified users. On top of that, someone pointed out a patch worn by one of the soldiers in a video—a skull with crossed bones. He uses it as a pirate symbol, but others interpreted it as something Nazi-related. I know this man personally, and I can say with full confidence that he is not a Nazi and wouldn’t wear anything with that intent. permalink [–]to Forsaken_Welder_729 sent 1 month ago They also claimed I used someone else’s content in my thank-you video. You can’t expect soldiers using the latest tech to operate under frontline conditions with budget gear. permalink [–]to Forsaken_Welder_729 sent 1 month ago I hope people take the time to actually read the moderators’ message. I find their decision completely over the top and clearly based on input from r/tatalitlebit. Sadly, they’ve accused me of posting a thank-you video that wasn’t my own content—which simply isn’t true. As for the prices I’ve listed, they are as low as they realistically get for the quality and specifications needed in the field. Anyway, this is my response to everything. Dear moderators, You opened this discussion by accusing me of inflating the price of tourniquets. In order to keep communities welcoming, safe, and great places to be, everyone who uses the platform operates by a shared set of rules—a set of rules you may not have realized you broke. Warning for encouraging violence We flagged the following as a potential policy violation: Content shared from Pitmaster4Ukraine on 03/19/2025 UTC After reviewing, we found that you broke Rule 1 because you encouraged or glorified violence or physical harm. Reddit is a place for creating community and belonging, not for encouraging violence against people or animals. We don’t tolerate any behavior that encourages, glorifies, incites, or calls for violence or physical harm against an individual, groups of people, places, or animals. Any communities or people that encourage or incite violence towards an individual, group, animals, or place will be banned. As a result, we’re issuing this warning, removing the violating content, and asking you not to break this rule again. Reddit and its communities are only what we make of them together, and we want you to continue enjoying Reddit while helping your fellow redditors and communities stay safe. We suggest reading and getting acquainted with the Reddit Rules. A better understanding of these rules will help you avoid further actions from our admin team. If you do continue to break Reddit’s rules through this or any other Reddit account, you may face additional actions such as three-day, seven-day, or permanent bans. If you feel like you didn’t break the rules, you can file an appeal any time within the next six months and we’ll take a second look. If you live in the European Union, you can also contact a settlement body to dispute the decision. You may also have the right to have this decision reviewed by a competent court under the applicable laws of your country. – Reddit Admin Team Note: This content was flagged by Reddit's automated systems. I hope you are safe and well. I've seen you before on Reddit and always thought your gift of a great BBQ for the soldiers as an act of kindness and generosity. My husband is frontline infantry somewhere in the east. I have learned directly from him that the men in his unit are in desperate need of food, which isn't reaching them for a variety of reasons you may well be familiar with. I understand that men are malnourished and some may be perishing due to the lack of food and poor diet. It would be awesome if these soldiers could be the recipients of your generosity, hospitality, and a great meal! Would you be so kind as to contact me if this is something you might be able to do for these soldiers? I thank you so very much and I value and respect the work you do.
